 This web-based email etiquette programme aims to assist companies to standardise their approach to email etiquette and writing. It is not always possible to find the time to attend a workshop or training programme. This short e-learning intervention will assist busy business people to enhance the effectiveness and accuracy of the emails they are sending.

Email is rapidly becoming the norm for almost all business correspondence, but it can also become a nightmare if not managed properly. This programme covers all aspects of email etiquette to minimise the time spent on writing emails and maximise their effectiveness. Aspects covered include; appropriate word choice / tone, content development, fulfilling your intention, how to avoid common language errors, how to avoid exaggeration and ambiguity, avoiding legal pitfalls, and following practical guidelines to become generally more effective and concise.

The learning / theory part of the programme is interactive and practical and makes you think as you work through new concepts. Thereafter, you will be required to answer multiple choice questions and quizzes and submit an original email letter. These will be marked and feedback sent via email to the learner. Delegates work on-line to participate in this programme but you can work for long or short periods as the computer will track and save your progress. Duration

Six to eight hours depending on personal speed and input. Delegate can log in and out of programme at will.

Training Medium
